My 5 ton trane roof mount A/C had a cracked fan shroud. (I have no idea why they would make these out of plastic) Anyway I got a quote to replace it that was crazy expensive from my regular A/C company (a major HVAC company, that advertises and has a fleet and office people) There was no way I was going to sink that amount of money into an $80 part and an hours worth of work, so I started looking around for a better price. I ran across Budget A/C Repair in Glendale and asked for a quote for parts and labor. They came up with a really fair price and did the job right. I think that's the difference between a small family owned company and those big ones that have all the overhead and charge to cover that expense. Budget did a great job and I'm happy to recommend them and will use them from now on.Posted on Google
JackThese guys do a great job, we got our AC replaced much faster than we anticipated. In fact we had our unit replaced and running before an appointment with another company. They were even kind enough to come out after the fact to take a look at another issue we had, unrelated to their install a few days later. BONESAWW6 9Phil and David are the best in the business, they care about their customers and really take the time to help you with the process of getting new ac units at a great price. Our home had a pretty big job that required two new units along with needing a crane, they scheduled everything out and came when they were expected. David even helped me find a leak in my roof unrelated to my ac units being replaced, he went above and beyond to take care of us! Forever grateful for Phil and David! Julia FordtnerDavid (and he says his dad is good too) came out to give a bid on a new AC. Instead he took a look and said it's possible that we were just low on freon. We happened to have a stash of R22 and he filled it up, it takes 8 pounds and it needed 4. No wonder it wasn't blowing hot. We had actually paid for a diagnosis that made us start looking to replace (that tech, from Adam's, said some crust inside the copper tubes came loose and was blocking the freon from circulating). Now we can have it done in cooler winter weather. We LOVE the service and honesty. Thank you David!!Posted on Google
